Thanks for visiting us here at "KB's Cockers"! My name is Kim, my husband's name is Jon, and we have 2 children still at home. Jacob is 16, and Rose is 6. Jon works for the USPS, and I run my own home-based business. We both love our jobs, and raise cocker spaniels as a hobby.
We do not believe in breeding just to breed and sell puppies. Don't ever think you are going to breed and sell puppies to make money. You don't. It COSTS to breed dogs. You do it because you LOVE to do it. And they should only be bred to "better the breed", not for any other reason. There are thousands of disgusting puppy mills and pet brokers out there, but you will never see or hear of any of our puppies going to either of them. We take full responsibility for our puppies from birth on, and if, for any reason, you can't keep your puppy, we want him/her back!!
We have bred APRI and AKC cockers, both partis and solids. Last year we went to strictlyly AKC because we are proud of their standards. That is just our preference, we are not saying there is anything wrong with APRI. Since going to AKC only, and staying with solids, we are now starting a chocolate line. Our chocolate cockers have excellent pedigrees with many Champions. We are excited about this new development in our breeding program!!
